What we collect

We collect the information needed to create and secure your account, run the dance feed, support moderation, and remember your choices.

  • Account details: email address, username, avatar, authentication identifiers, selected country, and age-eligibility confirmation.
  • Content: dance videos, captions, thumbnails, profile details, reports, and moderation outcomes.
  • Activity: likes, saves, follows, comments, blocks, hides, and basic service events needed to make features work.
  • Technical information: app version, device and network information, security events, error logs, and upload diagnostics.

How we use it

We use this information to provide Swayelle, authenticate members, deliver videos, process uploads, personalise the feed, enforce safety rules, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. V1 does not use personal information for third-party advertising, subscriptions, payments, or private messaging.

Who processes it

Swayelle uses carefully selected service providers to operate the product. Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and realtime infrastructure. Hosting, security, analytics, email delivery, and app-store providers may process limited information when those services are enabled.

Information may be processed outside your country. We assess access controls and contractual or technical protections before production launch.

Visibility and moderation

Your username, avatar, approved dances, captions, and public engagement counts may be visible to other members. Your email address, saved dances, and individual like history are not displayed publicly.

Every upload begins in a private pending state. Authorised moderators may review submitted content and associated account information to decide whether it can appear in the feed.

Retention and security

We keep information only while it is needed for the service, safety, dispute handling, backups, or legal requirements. Retention periods will be finalised before public launch.

We use access controls, encrypted connections, row-level database protections, private storage paths, moderation controls, and least-privilege administration. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can update profile details, remove your own dances, manage likes and saves, block or report accounts, and request account deletion. You may also ask to access or correct information we hold about you.

During private testing, use the in-app Settings and reporting controls. The public support channel will be published on the Support page before launch.

Age and region

Swayelle is intended for people aged 16 or older in Australia and 18 or older in India and Sri Lanka. We may request age assurance and remove or restrict accounts that do not meet the applicable minimum.

Changes and complaints

We will show the effective date when this notice changes and provide additional notice for material changes. Questions and privacy complaints can be raised through the in-app support flow during testing. We will publish a dedicated privacy contact before public launch.
